CONNECTION & COMMUNITY · FREMANTLE

A place to connect.
A little space
for you.

Motherhood is part of your story.
There’s room for the rest of you.

Mum, and More is a community project for mothers who would value good company, thoughtful conversations and space to reconnect with themselves.

Discover Mum, and More

Being shaped with mums and life with little ones in mind.

Come as you are. There’s space for your story.

THE IDEA BEHIND MUM, AND MORE

You’re a mum.
And so much more.

In the everyday rhythm of caring for a little one, your own interests and needs can become harder to hear.

Mum, and More is being created as a welcoming place to pause, meet other mothers and reconnect with what matters to you now.

There’s no version of yourself you need to get back to. Just space to notice who you are today, and what you might like to make a little more room for.

A PERSONAL HELLO

I’m Patrycja.
A mother, and more.

I’m creating the kind of space where we can get to know each other as people, alongside being mums.

I want Mum, and More to be somewhere you can enjoy a conversation, reconnect with an interest, or simply take a little time to notice what matters to you now. You don’t need to arrive with a goal or know exactly what to say.

My background is in biotechnology, biomedical research and scientific communication. I have a PhD and enjoy turning complex ideas into something clear and useful in everyday life.

I’m also an Accredited Mental Health First Aider. That training informs the care I bring to conversations and my understanding of when professional support may be needed.

Outside of work, I enjoy healthy food and finding family-friendly recipes that make busy days a little easier.

WHAT WE’RE CREATING

Connection. Breathing room.
Small possibilities.

A thoughtful group experience, grounded in real life.

People to connect with

Welcoming conversations with other mothers. Space to share, listen and get to know the person beyond the everyday roles.

02 /

Room to hear yourself

Gentle reflection on your interests, strengths and what matters to you. You choose what to share and what to keep for yourself.

03 /

Something small to take away

A FEW PRACTICAL THINGS

Good to know.

The project is in development.
Here’s where things stand.

Who is Mum, and More for?

Mothers who would value connection and space to explore their interests, priorities and identity alongside motherhood. You don’t need a particular goal or a ready-made answer.

Can I bring my baby?

The project is being shaped with mums and bubs in mind. Baby-friendly arrangements, suitable ages and venue details will be confirmed before bookings open.

Do I have to share personal things?

No. You choose what to share. Quiet participation and listening are welcome, and personal reflections can stay private.

Is this therapy or counselling?

No. Mum, and More is a non-clinical community wellbeing initiative. It does not provide psychological, medical or clinical mental-health services.

When and where will sessions happen?

Sessions include in-person home visits across Fremantle and surrounds, online sessions via Zoom across Australia, and group sessions at Fremantle Library. Dates, pricing and booking details are still to be confirmed.
